Hello,
I recently stayed with you and I enjoyed my brief stay. I posted a GOOGLE review which I’ve copied below. I wasn’t able to post on the hotel booking sites because I didn’t book through them. I called you personally to make the reservation. But I thought perhaps you could use this review on your site. thanks again.

REVIEW:
What a wonderful find! Don’t be deceived by the simple exterior. Castle Rock Hotel redefines the moderately priced motel experience as something that can be quite delightful. I have traveled often and stayed in an array of lodgings from modest B&Bs to some of the finest hotels both here and abroad. While on a road trip, I don’t see any need for fancy hotels for brief overnight stays; I also prefer to park my car closely adjacent to my room. Thus a motel is the practical choice. Once upon a time, you could find a clean, reasonably comfortable lodging for a fair price. Not true anymore. But Castle Rock is an exception. The owner has gone out of her way to decorate and furnish simple but tasteful rooms and still charge LESS than many nearby chain motels. Talk about a breath of fresh air! Everything feels new because it is. Attractive, meticulously cleaned, and stocked with good brand personal size soaps and shampoos, along with name brand facial and bathroom tissues (NOT that bargain basement sandpaper you find in most places). Large, tiled stall shower with rainfall showerhead. Fluffy Turkish and India cotton towels. Soft quality bed linen. Efficient mini-spit A/C and convenient fridge. The owner made me feel very welcome and when I mentioned I would, of course, smoke outside (all rooms are non-smoking), she appeared a few minutes later with a folding camp chair and pedestal ashtray to place outside my room. Should I find myself passing through Flagstaff again, I will be sure to book a room at Castle Rock. It also gives me a good feeling to support an independent businesswoman who works this hard to provide a nice place for people to stay. Oh… and there is a Starbucks right next door, kind of the icing on the cake. By the way, I post ratings taking into account the CONTEXT. In the category of motels in a relatively small city just off a major interstate travel corridor, this deserves more than 5 stars or an A+.
Thank you so much for the great review Lauren, so happy that you enjoyed your stay.
